Kyaikhteeyoe Wildlife Sanctuary

Kyeikhteeyoe is located at Kyaikhto Township in Mon state in the northern part Tenasserim coast with elevation 1,100 m (3,609 ft) above sea level. It is about 140 miles away from Yangon. Kyeikhteeyoe is a popular pilgrimage and tourist attraction. It was proposed as a wildlife sanctuary in 1998 and gazette in 2001 in order to conserve the fauna and flora of the surrounding of Kyeikhtiyoe Pagoda which is a National monument. The wildlife sanctuary was established to protect globally threatened species. And, it is the only opportunity to see White-headed Bulbul ( Hypsipetes thompsoni ).

Hpa-an in Karen State

Hpa-An is the capital of Kayin state which is located at the eastern bank of the Thanlwin River, about 270 km east of Yangon. Zwekabin Mountain is an attractive place for visitors. It is famous among tourists for its stunning view and beautiful green nature. And, the natural Limestone Caves are highlights of the area. Besides, offering the best opportunity to see the region’s key species called Limestone Wren Babbler( Turdinus Crispifrons).

Bird watching in Rakhine Yoma ( Arkan Mountain Range )

Rakhine Yoma also is known as Arakan Mountain is a tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forest ecoregion in western Myanmar between the coast of Rakhine State and Central Myanmar Basin.
