Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival Yangon

Yangon Arrival. Transfer to hotel. Overnight.

Day 2

Yangon

Yangon city tour. Visit world famous Shwe Da Gone pagoda and Chauk Htat Gyi reclining Buddha image. Photo stop around Sule Pagoda and Botahtaung jetty. Visit China town, Bogyoke market and sunset at Nanthida Jetty. Overnight stay in Yangon.

Day 3

Yangon-Taungoo

Drive from Yangon to Poe Kyar Elephant Camp ( 4 hours drive ). Elephant ride around the Elephant camp ( 1 hour ). Trek to wild elephant catching stockades. Watching the tame elephant shows. Overnight stay at camp.

Day 4

Taungoo-Moeyungyi

A.M, watching the elephant working demonstrations. Trek to caught elephant Training center. P. M, drive to Moe Yon Gyi wet land birds sanctuary. ( 4 hours drive). Evening birds watching at MYG wet Land birds sanctuary. Overnight stay at MYG wet land.

Day 5

Moeyungyi-Yangon

Early morning birds watching at MYG wet land. Then drive back to Bago ( 1 hr ) Bago city tour, visit Kanbawzathadi palace, Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda (the tallest pagoda in Myanmar), Shwe Tha Lyaung reclining Buddha image and Bago market. Drive Back to Yangon ( 2 hours ).

The best time to visit for tour is from October to March yearly.

There are 9 endemic bird species in Myanmar.

The migrated birds arrive round about the second week of November and fly back on end of February yearly.
