Monthly Birding Activity No. 15 at National Races Village

 Let”s do birding together!!

Monthly Birding Activity was collaborated by Myanmar Bird and Nature Society and SST Tourism Co., Ltd to implement the monthly birding activity in Myanmar and share the environmental awareness to the local people.

For the January Birding Activity, we have chosen National Races Village (Tharketa Township, Yangon) as our birding spot for this month. National Races Village is one of the attractive places to visit in Yangon for both the local people and foreigners. Here, visitors can see traditional homes and replicas of many famous cultural sites representing Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan, and Burma. In National Races Village, there are over eighty species of bird inhabited at a small mangrove forest and near around in wintering.

Meeting Point & Activities

We will be at the entrance of the National Races Village in the morning at 7:00 am. Then, we will do birding at the sideway of mangrove forest and near around up to twelve o” clock (12:00pm) and will have our lunch at a small restaurant with own account.

4. Notebook and Pen
5. Camera
6. Money ( for Lunch and Entrance fee)

Attention:  Not to wear bright color (for instance; Red, White, Yellow)
